2016 Ford Explorer vs 2015 Ford Explorer

Ford made several updates to its features and improvements to the Explorer's performance. The automated parking system has been updated so now it can not only park in a parallel space but can pull into and out of a perpendicular parking space as well. Ford replaces the 2.0 Liter EcoBoost engine with the 2.3 Liter engine which is more powerful and returns better fuel economy. The 2.3 Liter engine can also be paired with all-wheel drive and can tow up to 3,000 pounds when properly equipped.
The 2016 Ford Explorer added a new trim level for this year, the new
top end Platinum. It comes standard with just about every technology and
safety feature from the Explorer's available options, including a navigation system, keyless entry, fog lights, heated seats, blind spot monitoring system and alloy wheels. The 2016 Ford Explorer Platinum also features several interior and exterior cosmetic features, including its own
distinctive grille with satin chrome finish as well as Platinum
embroidered on the leather trimmed seats. The Explorer Platinum shows
off how luxurious Ford can be.
