It’s a fair question. All Certified Pre-Owned vehicles are used, but not all used cars are certified. For a Ford to be certified, it must meet strict mileage and age limits. It also has to pass the full multi-point inspection mentioned above. Once certified, you get warranty protection, which isn’t standard with every used car out there. 

Do Certified Pre-Owned Fords Come with a Warranty?

Yes, they do—and there are two levels to choose from. Gold Certified vehicles offer a 12-month/12,000-mile Comprehensive Limited Warranty and a 7-year/100,000-mile Powertrain Limited Warranty. Blue Certified vehicles give you 90-day/4,000-mile Comprehensive Limited Warranty coverage. Both options include roadside assistance and help you get repairs done efficiently.
