The 2017 Ford F-350 has been fully redesigned for the new year including a more rugged frame, enhanced engines, more spacious cabins and a wide range of convenience and technology features. Ford's mission was to make the F-series lineup more productive than previous model years and to remain at the top of the pickup truck segment. The 2017 F-350 is offered in five trims XL, XLT, Lariat, King Ranch and Platinum. It is also available in regular cab, extended cab and crew cab body styles with a choice of 6.75- and 8-foot bed lengths.

The 2017 F-350 features all-new high-strength, military-grade, aluminum alloy. The Super Duty pickup also has stronger axles and an all-new fully boxed frame built of over 95 percent high-strength steel and 24 times stiffer than the previous frame, all resulting in a stronger pickup that is lighter.
Based on cab body style and engine, the 2017 F-350 can tow anywhere from 13,300 pounds to 21,000 pounds. F-350 equipped with 5th wheel Gooseneck towing max out at a class-leading 32,000 pounds. Payload ratings range from 4,470 to 7,630 pounds.All 2017 F-350 models come standard with a 6.2-liter gasoline V8 that produces 385 horsepower and 430 pound-feet of torque. Also available is a revised version of the 6.7-liter Power Stroke turbodiesel V8 that now puts out 440 horsepower and 925 pound-feet of torque.

2017 F-350 Convenience and Technology Features

Part of the changes for the 2017 model year includes 5 new optional cameras all designed to help give the driver better visibility while hauling or reversing. There are also a number of safety features available now including blind spot information system with cross-traffic alert and trailer tow, lane departure warning and adaptive cruise control.
