1075 × 400The 2017 Ford Escape is one of those SUVs where you can pick and choose the features that you want the most. This goes beyond just having a few different trim levels, though, as the 2017 Escape also offers a wide variety of packages. The Cold Weather Package in the 2017 Ford Escape has been on our mind a lot lately due to the winter weather — but what all comes with it?

2017 Ford Escape with the Cold Weather Package

If you hate having to drive on chilly mornings or having to clear ice off your car after a heavy snowfall, then the 2017 Ford Escape might be just what you need. The SE Cold Weather Package on the Ford Escape adds a 110-volt power outlet, all-weather floor mats, dual-power heated exterior mirrors with an integrated blind spot mirror, heated front seats, a windshield wiper de-icer, and a supplemental PTC heater. The PTC heater is perfect for when you’re in a rush, since it will give you warm air right away before your engine has a chance to heat up.

The windshield wiper de-icer is extra special and can actually melt all the snow and ice locking them down in under 10 minutes at temperatures as cold as -18 degrees. Take a look below to see the windshield wiper de-icer in action!
