2017 Ford Escape Release Date
Ford announced that the 2017 Escape will be available this spring and has released information of the features of the new Escape. Ford gave the Escape an updated design which features a new grille and sculpted hood. With the new sleek side view mirrors and wheel design, the 2017 Escape is more eye catching and aerodynamic looking than previous model years. The interior saw some redesign too, which the gear shifter being moved and redesigned as well as the center console which has an added media bin to store all your essentials.
The 2017 Escape will have three available engine options, the standard engine is a 2.5L iVCT I-4 engine and an available new 1.5L and 2.0L EcoBoost engine with Auto Start-Stop technology. SYNC connect will be available, which allows the owner to start, lock, unlock and locate their vehicle from anywhere using their smartphone. The Escape will also have available SYNC 3 which features new hardware, software and a easy-to-use design.
2017 Escape Available Packages
Ford is offering two packages for customers to add to their 2017 Escape. This first package is a sport appearance package which includes: 19-inch black painted aluminum wheels, black-bezel halogen projector headlamps, LED signature daytime running lamps, unique black front fender grilles, black-tinted taillamps, black roof rails, gloss black fog map surrounds, sporty V-shaped partial leather trimmed seats and a leather wrapped steering wheel and gear shift.
The other package offered is the SE convenience package which includes: SYNC Connect, reverse sensing system, 100V power outlet, blind spot information system with cross-traffic alert, dual power adjustable side view mirrors, black roof rails, one touch up/down front and rear windows, nine audio speakers, halogen projector headlamps with LED signature daytime running lamps and SYNC 3.
