1075 × 350As much as we might hate to admit it, summer is slowly coming to a close. But don’t worry because after summer means fall and fall is a great time in Vermont. The fall  foliage is truly something out of a book and it creates beautifully scenery around the state. Of course fall also means some of the best festivals and events of the year, like Oktoberfest. Oktoberfest Vermont in Burlington, VT

Oktoberfest Vermont is held at Waterfront Park from September 22-25th. The festival will be Bavarian themed with touches of Vermont. There will be local food, authentic music, games, contests and of course beer. New to this year, there will be a Lederhosen 5k run to benefit camp Ta-Kum-Ta. Be sure to get tickets before they sell out!

Oktoberfest Events 2016 in Vermont


Stowe Oktoberfest in Stowe, VT

The Rotary Club of Stowe will host their 20th annual Oktoberfest. Held at Jackson Ice Arena from October 1-2, a grand parade opens Oktoberfest on Saturday and then enjoy music, lots of beer, wine and authentic food.

Bennington Oktoberfest in Bennington, VT

Held at Colgate Park on October 8th, there will be live music, Bavarian food, Oktoberfest beer, family activities and arts and crafts vendors. Admission is $5 and the event is open from 11am until 5pm.

 

Harpoon Oktoberfest Vermont in Windsor, VT

The Windsor brewery of Harpoon hosts its Vermont Oktoberfest from October 8-9. There is lots of Harpoon beer, live music, keg bowling, and the Harpoon Oktoberfest race. Children under 12 are admitted free with an adult and there is a $15 cover charge which includes 1 Harpoon beer ticket or non-alcoholic beverage ticket.

Mount Snow Oktoberfest and Harvest Art and Craft Festival in West Dover, VT

The 19th annual Mount Snow Oktoberfest is on October 8th and 9th and will feature German beer and food and plenty of games. There is an apple sling show and schnitzel toss event as well. There will be an arts and craft fair going on as well. There is plenty going on for the entire family to make this a great event for everyone.
