What is the Bristol, VT Pocock Music Festival?

On Saturday June 19th from 3-8PM Bristol is having their 7th annual Pocock Rocks Music Festival and Street Fair. What is the Bristol, VT Pocock Music Festival? This festival celebrates Bristol as a great place to shop, dine, live, work and visit. The event will feature live musical entertainment from eight known and loved regional bands and over 30 vendors from microbrews, specialty foods, gifts, crafts and more. There will also be lots of activities for kids with a bouncy house, the Vermont National Guard climbing wall, Photo Booth Planet’s VW Bus and of course all the shops and restaurants found in Bristol.

The reason why the event is called the Pocock music festival and street fair is because Bristol was originally founded as Pocock on June 27th 1762. The town’s name was changed to Bristol 25 years later in 1789. The H Team as in both Heritage Ford and Heritage Toyota will be sponsoring the Pocock Music Festival this year with a large stage banner on the North St. stage as well as three vehicles, two Toyotas and one Ford vehicle. Come out to see the Pocock Music Festival and Street Fair and stop by and visit the H Team at the event.
