Heritage Ford Sponsoring JDRF One Walk on May 22nd, 2016
The JDRF One Walk is an event that helps raise money for life-changing research for the millions affected by type 1 diabetes. The annual event is being held on May 22nd, 2016 at the CVU High School located at 369 CVU Road Hinesburg, VT. The walk begins at 10am and check-in begins at 9am. Heritage Ford will be a bronze level sponsor for this years JDRF One Walk. There will be plenty of great activities going on during the event, some of the activities include, a bounce house, face paint and air brush tattoos, live music, Dux the Balloon Man and much more.
Before the walk, participants can enjoy bagels, granola bars, bananas, apples, cheese, Moe’s chips and salsa bar, coffee, tea and water. After the race, the event will have a limited quantity of Domino’s pizza, yolo snacks, Moe’s chips and salsa bar and participants are also encouraged to bring a picnic lunch including a chair and blanket if they so choose. The event will also be having a raffle with some fantastic prizes such as passes to Jay Peak Pump House, golf passes, restaurant certificates and much more.
Heritage Ford at JDRF One Walk
Heritage Ford is a bronze sponsor for the community event and during the event, Heritage Ford will have a tent set up with some of the most popular Ford vehicles with sales members there to talk about and answer any questions participants have about the vehicles. Heritage Ford will also have a coloring table set up for the younger participants. Currently we have a couple of collection boxes in our showroom to help us contribute more to the event.
