1075 × 400St. Patrick’s Day isn’t just restricted to a day or weekend in the Burlington area — instead, we celebrate all month long! The annual Burlington Irish Heritage Festival is one of the best ways to celebrate Irish culture and we’re excited to see the festival spanning so long this month. Take a look below to learn more about when you can attend the Burlington Irish Heritage Festival in 2017.

2017 Irish Heritage Festival

You’ll be able to find fun stuff to do at the 2017 Burlington Irish Heritage Festival from March 7 to March 24 this year, which actually marks the 22nd year that the festival has been held! The Irish Heritages Festival has a family-friendly focus that can introduce you to the culture of Irish immigrants that have passed things down, such as music, dance, stories, and more!

Luck of the Irish Raffle in Burlington

How does a trip to Ireland sound to you? The Burlington Irish Heritage Festival will be holding a raffle that has a grand prize for a seven-day vacation for two to Ireland! The prize includes transportation (flight and car rental), accommodations, tours, and a full Irish breakfast every day you’re there. Tickets are $10 each or you can get a book of 10 for $90. The tickets can be purchased at festival events prior to the drawing on March 19.

What to do with Irish Leftovers

Making some Irish recipes is a common way to celebrate the culture, especially around St. Patrick’s day. But what do you do with your leftover soda bread, corned beef, cabbage, and other Irish standbys? You can attend a class on making Brunch with your Irish leftovers from St. Patrick’s Day at the McClure Multi-generational Center in Burlington VT!
